چکیده
Identifying the core hydrological processes of catchments is a critical step for operative modeling. This study attempts to assess long-term alterations in streamflow three adjacent Upper East Fork White River, Indiana USA, by employing SWAT model. The model simulations are spanning from 1980 up 2015 and distributed configurations periods identify monthly streamflow. For this purpose, water abstraction, land use, tillage, agricultural field drainage practices have been incorporated provide accurate data input. setup also integrates spatially disaggregated sectorial use surface groundwater resources integrating significant increases abstractions mainly public supply purposes. cover area governed rotating crops, while tile crucial parameters affecting regional balance. Streamflow prediction based on SUFI-2 algorithm SWAT-CUP interface has used calibration validation phases evaluation indicate progressively sufficient all configuration with NSE (0.87, 0.88, 0.88) PBIAS (14%, −7%, −2.8%) values at Seymour outlet. Surface runoff/precipitation as well percolation/precipitation ratios indicators trends wetter conditions. Bedload measurements, East Fork River, Wyoming.
A bedload trap in the riverbed provided direct quantitative measurement of debris-transport rate in the East Fork River, Wyoming, a basin of 466 km(2) drainage area. Traction load moves only during the spring snow melt season. Data collected in three spring runoff seasons during which a peak flow of 45 m(3)/s occurred showed that transport rate is correlated with power expenditure of the flowin...
متن کاملEstimating the Available Water in the Watershed using System Dynamics Hydrological Model (Case Study: Ilam Watershed)
Hydrological models provide water managers with the available amount of water in the watershed. In this paper, we firstly developed a system dynamics model to calculate the available amount of water in the watershed. Then, we defined two scenarios one of which is the development scenario describing how land use changes can affect water availability in the watershed. Next, we divided the watersh...
متن کاملFollow-up and modeling of the land use in an intensive agricultural watershed in France
In intensive agricultural regions, monitoring land use and cover change represents an important stake. Some land cover changes in agro-systems cause modifications in the management of land use that contribute to increase environmental problems, including an important degradation of water quality. In this context, the identification of land-cover dynamics at high spatial scales constitutes a pri...

Pollution of surface water with harmful chemicals and eutrophication of rivers and lakes with excess nutrients are serious environmental concerns. The U.S. Environmental Protec‐ tion Agency (USEPA) estimated that 53% of the 27% assessed rivers and streams miles and 69% of the 45% assessed lakes, ponds, and reservoirs acreage in the nation are impaired (USEPA, 2010). In Mississippi, 57% of the 5...
